Amor Aroha was inevitably born when I moved to New Zealand from Spain in 2011.

Amor, “love” in Spanish and “Aroha”, love in Te Reo Maori are the unique blend that I call myself : a Spanish and Kiwi cultural mix with a mediterranean accent. Amor Aroha  became my personal branding that encompasses the professional activities where my heart is invested.

With a solid foundation in communication, including a Level 9 accreditation and an international master’s degree in intercultural and interpersonal communication from  the University of Leeds, Uk, University of Alaska Southeast, USA and University of Murcia, Spain I understand the power of connection deeply.

In 2015, the passing of my parents Miguel and Juana Mary marked a profound turning point.  It was then that I made a heartfelt decision to live by  love and laughter and  I found my calling to serve as a celebrant, officiating rites of passage and rituals  that mark significant stages in people’s lives . Since then, I have had the honor of accompanying  many individuals and communities as they celebrate and mark life’s transitions.

My journey has taken me across languages and cultures, working as an international hostess and interpreter aboard cruise ships, communications management , learning and development, and wedding management  at renown wedding venues on Waiheke Island, New Zealand.

I have a background in scripted theater, improv ,stand up comedy and a passion for aesthetics!

My other  interests revolve around human development, counseling and community leadership.

It would be an honor to officiate for you on your Wedding day and witness your very own creation of Amor and Aroha.
